Two Can Talk is a thriving independent Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy practice. We work with babies, children and young people in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk; and nationally via teletherapy.  Many of the children we work with have additional needs such as Down Syndrome, an Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and sensory processing difficulties.

An opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist (band 6+) to join the team. The successful applicant will have experience working with children who have additional needs. The caseload is variable and will include complex needs and also general developmental difficulties. The majority of the children are seen in their homes, making exemplary interpersonal and communication skills a must. Duties include assessing, planning and implementing appropriate occupational therapy interventions for children and supporting their families. Applicants will be supported to develop problem solving and specialist clinical skills essential for meeting the demands of this setting. Regular supervision will be provided.

The post is flexible and part time or full time applicants will be considered. Pay is dependent upon experience.

The successful applicant will be based in the Mildenhall/Lakenheath area with the ability to travel to surrounding areas including Ely, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Norwich and Cambridge. Work may also be allocated in Peterborough, Alcolnbury, Kings Lynn and Huntingdon by mutual agreement.

The successful applicant will be part of a hard working team who are motivated to provide the best possible outcome for the families they work with. Admin support and clinical supervision will be provided.
