2A Publishing Ltd is committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of all personal data we process for those individuals who request to subscribe to one or more of 2A Publishing Ltd titles. The below policy describes what personal data we process and for what purposes, and also the choices you have in regards to your privacy.
- PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED BY US
Through registration/subscription requests to receive any 2A Publishing Ltd title(s) we then begin to process your personal data to ensure the requested publication is received. Registration/subscription requests are made through personal contact with 2A Publishing Ltd by phone, post, email, publication websites and face-to-face interaction, and also through our affiliates or third parties acting on our behalf. The personal data obtained is processed for receiving the requested publication, for 2A Publishing to get in touch with you and also for marketing purposes.
Examples of the personal data processed are your name, address, phone number, email address and any other personal data provided when signing up to receive a publication. Payment details are always held securely for approximately six months and then subsequently destroyed.
Marketing activities include email communications, participation in magazine competitions, surveys, polls or similar. We may contact you with magazine subscription offers and other information we think may be of interest to you.
- HOW WE USE THE PERSONAL DATA
2A Publishing Ltd process personal data in accordance with data protection laws and have implemented security measures to ensure your personal data is kept safe and secure. 2A Publishing Ltd do not sell or pass your details on, we only use your personal data for legitimate reasons for example to tell you about a product or service you may be interested in or to contact you for any reason about your magazine subscription.
Initially we process your data to ensure you receive the hard copy publication requested and to set up your subscription to receive this publication throughout your subscription period. Your personal data is then further processed to provide you with news, information and marketing communications from ourselves and authorised third-party services and partners. We may also use personal data to improve and develop our publications, websites and services through information gathered through surveys or polls undertaken.
Personal data is held safely and securely for the duration of an individual’s magazine subscription and for approximately two years after this time unless there has been a request for the data to be removed. After this time data is either destroyed or safely archived.
- YOUR CONSENT AND YOUR CHOICES
By signing up to receive a publication from 2A Publishing Ltd, you are agreeing to the initial processing of data which allows us to process your magazine subscription and/or allows us to send you copies of the publication requested. The additional processing of your personal data where you receive marketing, news, information or anything other than the hard copy publication is optional and consent can be withdrawn at any time.
2A Publishing Ltd will send you requested hard copy publications throughout the duration of your magazine subscription unless informed otherwise. We will also rectify and update personal data upon request. There may also be times when 2A Publishing Ltd may contact you, such as if we become aware that certain data we hold is no longer correct and for any other reason regarding your magazine subscription. By subscribing to any of our publications you are giving 2A Publishing consent to contact you, you can opt-out of contact from us by letting us know and your details will be removed and subsequently destroyed. You can opt-out of email communications by using the SafeUnsubscribe found at the bottom of each marketing email received.
